According to Day this is the first panel which clearly shows that the artist had to leave the original intent of making square panels.
Cooper sees this panel as the lower part of panel 4. Other authors do too. Cooper has some interesting thoughts, especially about the building in the middle. Jackson uses the building to make a Templar connection, Cooper to refer to the third degree.
